CPMG is comprised of primary care pediatricians and pediatric specialists who have completed additional, unique training to care for newborns, children, adolescents and teens. They have chosen to dedicate their attention exclusively to kids, resulting in the high level of expertise that children deserve.
Pediatricians receive 3 to 6 years of pediatric training after completing medical school; other physicians receive only 3 months of pediatric training. Pediatric specialists commit to an additional 24 to 36 months of in-depth fellowship training in addition to their 4 to 5 years of pediatric residency during which they focus on the clinical and research aspects of their pediatric specialty areas.
